Spa Guidelines
Children at the Spa
Children are welcome for treatment with appropriate permission given by the parent or legal guardian. Children who need to accompany an adult to the Spa are asked to be under the supervision of the adult at all times for both the safety of the child as well as a courtesy to all guests of the Spa.
Spa Hours of Operation
The Back, Face & Body Place will adjust its operating hours based upon the guests’ needs and seasonal trends. For example, we close earlier on certain days during the winter months and open later on some days in the summer months, to accommodate our guests’ schedules. We will attempt to keep our most current operating hours listed on our website, however feel free to contact us via phone if you need to confirm any hours of operation: 540.665.9955
Arrival Time for Appointment
Please check in at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time. Unfortunately, late arrivals cannot receive an extension of scheduled treatment time.
Cancellation Charges
The Back, Face & Body Place schedules all services on a first come – first serve basis! If you have an appointment scheduled, we will not schedule another guest for a similar treatment at that same time. Therefore, we ask that you give us at least a 24-hour notice of cancellation, or be subject to a charge of 50% of the scheduled service.
Same day Time changes
The Spa will attempt to adjust your time change request on the day of the treatment if facilities are available, however making such accommodations are frequently impossible. We cannot entertain any such accommodation requests on weekends and during Holiday periods.
Same day Service changes
We cannot accommodate requested changes in services on the same day as the appointment. Please attempt to call us at least 24 hours in advance should there be any such reason for changing the scheduled service or treatment.
Gratuities
Yes, it is customary to provide a gratuity to your therapist. Tips are not included in the Spa’s rates and your gratuity should be based upon the quality of service you receive. The industry guideline for gratuity on Spa Services is 10% to 20% of the services’ rate.
Rate Increases
Any packaged treatment programs that you purchase will be honored by the Spa, even if a rate increase occurs during that treatment program. However, all individual services and treatments will be subject to the then current published rate in the Spa. The Back, Face & Body Place will attempt to keep the current rates published on the website.
Inappropriate Behavior
The Back, Face & Body Place is a healing treatment Spa and our attention to the quality environment we offer all of our guests is paramount. Therefore, the Spa reserves the right to refuse service to anyone should we determine that person might be disruptive to the Spa’s mission or its guests. The therapist may terminate the service without refund for any inappropriate use of language or actions.
Unused Appointment Time
No refunds will be made for early departure of unused Spa appointments! If you need to cut your appointment short, we will attempt to provide as full of a treatment as possible. The times listed for treatments and services are approximate based upon expert knowledge and experience. Should a treatment conclude earlier, and the treatment criteria be completed, there is no refund or credit applied.
